Updates to Adobe retry timeout notifications
Minor Upgrade
❗ Important: This feature is currently in the Early Availability (EA) status.
AppDirect introduces new notifications to improve the user experience when creating quotes or completing checkout for Adobe products. This improvement ensures you remain informed and avoid unnecessary cart failures when latency from Adobe occurs.
When generating a quote or completing checkout for an Adobe product if the system encounters a delay then:
- Users (Sales Agents and End Customers) will now see clear, sliding informational messages during each automated retry attempt to retrieve the correct pricing.
- If all retry attempts are exhausted without success, a message is displayed, instructing users to manually refresh the page to get the accurate pricing data.
- For typical scenarios where Adobe responds quickly, prices will be displayed immediately, and no messages appear.
The messages are displayed based on the below time logic:
1st request is sent after 15sec > then there is a wait of 10sec > then 2nd request is sent > then there is a wait of 10sec > then 3rd request is sent > then there is a wait of 20sec > then 4th request is sent > then there is a wait of 20sec > then 5th request is sent.
